So many times, consumables for electronics wind up being prohibitively expensive, especially for niche market electronics like this pen. Fortunately, these aren’t at all expensive, and given the sheer usefulness that the pen has for my husband in his job, I’m very appreciative about that.
He hasn’t used the red, black is his preferred ink color, and since he uses his pen mostly during meetings at work where all he does is take short notes while recording, the cartridges last a long time for him. They also wipe off the sheet protector he keeps one of his notebook covers in for quickly accessing functions. I’m going to try laminating one of the covers and see how that works.
He’s been just thrilled with his pen since he got it. I’m glad it’s not expensive to maintain.

Things to know before you buy:
1. The variety of cars and the differences they present add a lot to the fun, so much so that this is arguably the game’s biggest draw. The period that the game spans (’61-’71) was an interesting decade of technical advancement and this historical tie gives the game real dimension.
2. As you may have read in the product description you have to unlock new cars and years by “earning” them through various missions. However, the missions themselves are fun and they effectively force you to become a better player.
3. The only negative (for me) is the pit stop regimen. Instead of having to master actually driving into pit lane correctly the game takes over control and “auto-parks” your car. Then you have to use the Wii controller to turn things and move things in order to change your own tires and add your own fuel. Hmmm. It seems that the authors were trying to add tension to the pit stop (which this does) but I am not in love with the approach. My opinion.
4. While you do not need the Wii wheel accessory, it does add a bit of realistic feel and it makes the controller MUCH easier to manage. You definitely want to get it.
GET THIS GAME. Tremendous fun for the low price!

I always own custom-built computers for my main rigs, but for mobile purposes I’ve used the Macbook/Macbook Pro lines for a few years now. I love their versatility, a Unix-based OS, and the amazing battery life. The only thing I don’t like is that they only have one output…but who cares when you can output any number of digital signals via toslink!
Bought these cables to output 5.1 to my receiver and my Logitech Z5500 sound system (both 5.1 systems, one for the main living room and one from my other computer). They work *wonderfully*. On one end you have the mini-TOSlink (looks almost like a headphone cable) and on the other end the standard TOSlink (optical) connection. Plug it in and the MBP sets everything up instantly for great output. I realize the quality of cables has no link to the quality of the sound being outputted (digital signals either work or they don’t), but the sound comes through crystal clear with no hand-shake issues and no problems at all!
Definitely would recommend this over a adapter or cable. Buying a few more for some friends and spares =P

I think I’ll order a second of these. I haven’t had mine long enough to evaluate battery life, but the light output, hanger hook, removable diffuser and hi/lo power option make this a very nice lantern at this price. I also like the small size and light weight.
I don’t think the tiny, flashing led to help locate the lantern in the dark is necessary. Also, the “carrying handle” is kinda silly… the lantern doesn’t get hot and you can easily hold/carry it in your hand without the handle. That said, neither the flashing led nor the carrying handle hurt anything, so I’m sticking with my 5 star rating.
Oh, and removing the bottom, inserting batteries and replacing the bottom seemed logical and obvious to me; and I am no genius. Darned if I know why some folks had so much trouble. The only “trick” in replacing the bottom is to make sure the little slot in the screw-on bottom is lined up with the tab inside the battery compartment. That feature assures the battery contacts will be lined up correctly.

A fantastic mix of turn based and realtime strategy. The complexity of the strategic mode is somewhere between Axis and Allies and HOI. The end result being a playable, fun game.
I have not had any bug issues whatsoever. The game is smooth as silk and is just a joy to play. One of the things that appeals to me in this game compared to others in its genre (WII grand strategy), is that each country actually has strengths and weaknesses as far as military units go. Instead of “medium tank”, for example, being the same thing for all counties; there is a clear difference in this game in equipment. Also, having aircraft roaring overhead while artillery shells are exploding every where during a heated infantry battle is simply a fantastic experience.
If you have any interest in the grand, world conquest, change history type of game… This is definately worth getting.
*Note that multiplayer is completely non-functional. If you are buying this to play with someone else, don’t waste your money. As a single player game, it is great.

This bag worked perfectly! Great size to put my i phone, and money all at the same time. I could even put my small video camera in here at one point. We went to six flags and sea world and it never got water in it during some of the water rides. I never actually tried to submerge it into water all the way but it worked on some of the smaller water rides so its possible it could work in the bigger water rides.
